The Datura bag: the flower behind the shape

The Datura is WENLIH's most structured bag. It takes its name from a flower whose corolla opens like a trumpet, and it is this silhouette that guided its design.

A box and a curve

The body of the Datura is a minimal, box-shaped structure: 21 cm wide, 18 cm high, 7 cm deep. On this rigorous base sits a flap with an organic curve, inspired by the silhouette of the flower. The contrast between the straight line of the body and the curve of the flap is the idea of the bag.

The closure is magnetic. It is placed at the heart of the flap, like the heart of the flower.

An interior designed in levels

When opened, the interior is organised in three subtly offset levels. It is not decoration: it is a way of separating what you carry and finding it without searching. The entire structure is leather, the lining lambskin.

From day to night

The Datura comes with a removable, adjustable 139 cm strap. Worn, it allows carrying on the shoulder or crossbody. Removed, the bag becomes a clutch to carry by hand. One object, two uses.
